The project
An oak front porch in Pontyclun
This front porch in Pontyclun was built by the Aspire team: an oak frame with a pitched roof over the front door, brick plinths and new steps up to the entrance.
It adds shelter and character to the front of the house. Here are the main parts of the job.
We are based in Beddau and cover Pontyclun and the rest of Pontypridd and the surrounding area.
- Oak-framed porch with a pitched roof
- Brick plinths supporting the frame
- New steps up to the front door

Brick plinths and new steps
The porch sits on brick plinths either side of the entrance, with new wide steps leading up to the front door.
The finished result
Finished and handed over
The finished porch gives the front door shelter and a new focal point, with the oak frame standing out against the brick.
